Just curious if anyone has a Britax B Ready with the double seat? We are looking at one for our 4 and 3 year old for WDW and the Zoo this summer and our new baby in September. Our younger two are close to not needing a stroller at all so we though the removeable 2nd seat would great when just the new baby is in the stroller.

Have had our Graco, Marclean and Kinderwagon in the park and no issues. We mistakenly left our camcorder and our iPhone in the stroller with out being touched as well...not that I would leave them there to test the honesty of others.

Never had a Disney stroller stolen in all our years of renting them. Name on the tag helps us locate ours. Take the nametag to the next park when park-hopping on one day and you get a stroller there. No need to transport down on flight, take to park, assemble, disassemble to park-hop or to go to resort, or re-transport home. Not luxurious, but served the purpose. Never left anything in the stroller, so nothing to steal. I understand Disney strollers don't work for everyone, are expensive to rent on a daily basis, and are very basic, but theft is not commonly a concern.

I think... and I could be wrong but... the concern here was not the taking of rental strollers but rather nicer personal strollers (i.e. your own Graco you brought along).

One Little Spark...
Disney should install these for strollers.

They could easily theme it...and it's much better than seeing THIS!

I've never heard of stroller stealing. We used one for 3 years and 4 trips never had a problem. What is wrong with people that would do this. Stroller stealing wasn't even a thought that crossed my mind.

We've had balloons ripped off of our strollers, even had a bottle of soda taken off of it while on rides so we usually brought cheap umbrella strollers because we feared eventually someone would run off on it. This last trip (to DL) we brought our Sit and Stand and not a soul touched it, even in spots where there were no CMs. I think it is better to keep as little in it as possible than worry about the stroller taken outright.

Never had a problem...if anything, you're more likely to run into a case of mistaken identity...hence, why marking your stroller to avoid confustion is vital.

We actually had this happen several years ago even though we had our stroller marked. We came off a ride and found ours gone and a very similar (but slightly broken) one nearby. Just on chance, we decided to walk through Fantasyland to see if we could spot ours. Surprisingly, we did spot it, walked up to the people and nicely mentioned that we thought they had our stoller, pointing to the ribbon we used to identify it.

The people were so embarrased that I believe it was an honest mistake. They returned ours immediately and went back to retrieve theirs.

No issue with theft. Dont leave anything valuable behind.

But be smart about the stroller. Leave your bi expensive one at home and get a nice cheap, easy to fold up one. Also stick some hunters orange tape on the handles so its easy to identify from the sea of strollers.

We always rent ours from Theme Park Strollers before leaving the UK. Pay the extra $15 for accidental damage / theft and we are care free all day long (They also make up a cool looking number plate for it with your surname on it ;)). The usual rules apply though as you would at home; dont leave valubles in it, it might be the happiest place on earth, but it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the party :( As mentioned before that a helpful CM might have a re-arrange and that sometimes causes a heart-stopping moment, but they soon get found

Between five trips to WDW and DL we have never had any problems leaving our strollers in the designated areas other than finding it once when it had been moved near the safari to a second stroller parking area in AK. Not to say that some haven't been as lucky but I would have no problem doing the same in the future.

We have two expensive strollers, an orbit g2 and a city select double- together, they run close to $2k. We bought an anti-theft device to keep them safe and lock them together. Someone would have to steal them both, and when locked through the wheels, it makes it impossible for them to move. I would suggest buying an anti-theft device if you have an expensive stroller. I understand the whole "bring a cheap stroller" idea- but, the idea of having a nice comfortable stroller is just that- comfort. It defeats the purpose to have to buy an additional stroller or to rent a big clunky one. We live over a thousand miles away and don't have the space or desire to purchase an additional stroller for our week at Disney.

I have a simple plan that always kept my stroller safe and sound on my WDW trips. First, I took the stroller out of the cavernous back region of the mini van before our trips. This enraged the wife, but was a good first step in stroller safety. I would then drive the stroller to a different neighborhood in a different area of town. This insures that if someone steals my wallet at WDW they won't be able to hone in on my stroller. Now, I don't drive far, 15 miles at most so there is still the chance that if a ne'er do well has obtained my address they may drive around looking for my stroller, so I will surreptitiously slip into the backyard of some inattentive fool and start to construct a small Quonset hut to house and conceal the stroller. I set aside several hours for this. I will then let the "stroller guard" (typically ex CIA agent I pay about 25 grand for this) out and he will insure that no baddies or the home owners mess with my baby's transport.

I would suggest not taking an expensive stroller to Disney.

Just joining to say that we have just returned from a trip to the World...and my stroller was, in fact, stolen...we have taken my BOB Stroller Strides there for three years...name and cell number laminated and zip tied to handle and fluorescent ribbon tied on as well...this time, I had a change of clothes for each of my kids and my sons Jedi Training Academy hat not he stroller as well. We were at HS and left int he stroller parking for Back Lot Tour...came back and it was gone. Looked all over the park, filed reports with Disney security, guest services at HS and with Lost and Found. I've called every day and it hasn't shown up yet...it's only been three days but I truly think that it was stolen based on the way I had it marked and the fact it never has shown up. Needless to say, I am very upset...so while it may be rare, it DOES happen. I highly suggest you invest in an anti theft device if you're at all concerned about it. Now I'm just hoping Disney will reimburse me, especially since I parked it in the designated area and no cast member was ere when I came back...they were hanging out I the queue for BLT...but I'm not holding my breath...
