How do you get your WDW "fix"?

Do you try to recreate or remind yourself of that feeling of WDW on a day to day basis? Disney screensaver, pictures or souvenirs around your office or home? Play theme park soundtracks or walkthrough videos? A lot of us are going less often & for shorter visits, so I was wondering what everyone else does, if anything, to get your "fix".

A lot of what you listed.

To me, pictures are better than any souvenir you could ever buy. I scrapbook them, I look through my albums on Facebook daily, etc.

All kinds of Disney music feeds my soul...park loops, fireworks/parades/queue music, movie soundtrack, etc.

I peruse the Disney Store online and in person all the time... especially the park merchandise. Seeing those pictures on the screen give me flashbacks to standing in one of the many magnificently-themed Disney shops.

And of course...always planning for the next trip. :)

I cant avoid getting my daily Disney fix. Theres so much Disney stuff around my home & work place that I'm constantly being reminded of what I'm missing out on and what others are enjoying. Then I get on this site and others and get more reminders. With a Disney presence in every room of our house, everywhere I turn, theres a constant reminder of all the great times we've had and helps build a desire to return sooner than later.

I spend time daily on this site and a few others, catching up on what's going on and what's changing. Sometimes on weekends I'll go out for a long drive, and I'll bring along lots of Disney park music on my mp3 player, like soundtracks from several IllumiNations shows, music from defunct attractions like World of Motion and the original Journey to Imagination, etc. And I also have about 20 of the promotional videos that span 2 or 3 decades that I'll drag out and watch from time to time.

But by far the most important thing is to always have that next trip to work on. Next trip - September for my 60th (!) birthday!!!

I would say I do a lot of what you had mentioned. I follow the youtube channel "SeeYaReelSoon", they have weekly trip report videos which really fill my Disney tank :p I also focus on planning my next trip as soon as we return from my previous one.

On my desk at work is a Seagull with mine, mine, mine picture holders. (My wife and sons in each "mine" holder.
An 18" Nautilus sub model, and a screen saver that currently show Summit Plummet.
Oh, and my water glass here is a refillable Disney Mug.

I have a purple soapstone hippo I bought from Harambe in AK from my 2013 trip that sits below my computer monitor at work. (I'll be purchasing a buddy for this guy when I go this fall.)

I was in Orlando for a business conference earlier this month, and made a point to stop by the Earport store to pick up my favorite Alice in Wonderland/Mad Tea Party tea blends to keep me going for the next 133 days. (Too bad I couldn't fit in a quick trip to WDW while I was there!)

For me, it's pictures around my desk at work and items around the house. Plus...I spend a bunch of time on this forum...so that helps. Of course I can drive over whenever I want...so I don't feel disconnected for too long lol.

I went to a NKF meeting at the Swan in '09 or '10, that was the best meeting ever! Needless to say I spent far more time in WDW than I did in the meetings..... I bought a Mickey dog collar, Mickey tug toy & a kitty bowl. My cats still eat out of that bowl. I think I bought my wife some ear rings & a T-shirt. I was lucky enough to go with some good coworkers/compadres, good times.

Yes
This website, and I'm usually thinking about Disney (regardless of whether it's the parks or movies) for a lot of the day. It also doesn't hurt with how many Disney decorations I've got in my room

Actually being a DVC Member sorta helps me stay in the "mindset" all the time. I feel that way because we can book 11 months in advance and then I make our dining reservations 180 days in advance and then I book our fastpasses 60 days in advance and then I do online checkin. So it's sorta like I'm always doing Disney stuff and we take three trips a year on our Annual Passes. So it just seems like I'm always doing Disney stuff and I love that big time.

I find myself always reading the Disney World guide books and looking at pictures from my past few trips to Disney World.
I watch "walkthroughs" a lot on youtube and also I check the My Disney Experience wait times a lot. THAT actually helps me not feel so bad about not being there every day because when I think that we always go in the offseason I think of how bad it would be to have to go in the busiest times. LOL!

I know what you mean about constant planning. The other day at church someone said "When are you going back to Disneyworld?" and I said "May 12-20, September 1-10, and May 1-9". He looked at me like I was crazy and I was like "I never get sick of it!" LOL!
