How do you display your pins?

My pins are mostly in one of the "pin collector's packs". I concentrate almost solely on train themed pins. I also keep a couple lanyards hanging from my bureau handles with a few pins on them for the Memories.

Dear wife's pins, (she's the serious pin collector), are in four notebook style albums.

I have seen so many different displays of pins. We have ours on bulletin boards that we applied a thin layer of craft foam to and then covered in fabric. We have one that is covered in black felt that displays all our pins that are not Lilo & Stitch. For our Lilo & Stitch pins, we have a board covered in a Hawaiian print.

I have seen people that have taken the boxes that they sell at Michaels that are in the shape of a Mickey Head that they lined in craft foam and turned into a shadow box display. I have seen people that mounted their pins on craft foam and then framed them. I have seen lots of really creative displays that have been tricked out with clipart. Some people take the picture holding Disney plush characters and display a pin or two inside the soft plastic frames they hold. I have seen people decorate a lanyard and then hang it around a cherished stuffed critter's neck to make a stuffy trader. The possiblities are limited only to your imagination. Have fun! Maggie
What kind of Mickey Shaped Box does Michael's sell? Is it like a hat box, or is it actually a Mickey Shaped shadow box?
Thanks for clearing it up.

I use long pieces of wide ribbon in colors that match my daughters rooms. They put their pins on them and hang them on pegs under shelves in their room. If they won't hang straight so you can see the pins I fold under the end and put a tack on the underside to hold it straight. I have some of their favorite pictures hanging in that area and some of their Disney stuffed animals, other collectibles on the shelves.

The box that I have seen is brown paper mache. I think that's how you spell it. The box has little Mickey heads and some words embossed on it. It's meant to be painted. It's sort of like a hat box, but the sizes that I have seen are not quite big enough for a hat. I have one that is still in need of a paint job. I keep meaning to get to it but it's still in it's wrapper in the box-o-craft stuff that my honey keeps in her craft room. Maggie

I have mine in my pin book. I have about 200 pins. HOw many pins do you guys have?

I don't remember my count but I've got like 300 (almost all LE, retired and/or signed). There are plenty of good ideas on here, I might just have to look into some of them and consider them as possibilities too.
