How do you become a Disney Imagineer?

Good luck... I speak with an Imagineer Intern daily and says there is a reason why Imagineers are Imagineers. They are the best of the best, know everything about their craft, are unbelieveably creative and "imaginative", have TONS of experience and are just plain cool people.
It doesnt hurt brushing shoulders with someone of them...

Are you familiar with what an Imagineer is? Does? Its not just a person or a few people with an imagination... Like Unkadug said... Go to school, work hard, get a solid job in engineering, design, architecture, etc, and become the very best at what you do. Dont expect to come out of school and be an Imagineer.... Unless you are related to Joe Rohde

Start with a strong background. Get a degree in maybe mechanical engineering with some fine art category in minor or another major should be a good start for your goal :)

There are many different departments in Imagineering. Creative, Development, Engineerine ect. Along with an education and being the best in your field, you have to have that natural talent that a school can not teach you. Then wait for Disney to find you.
