How do I get from Old Key West to Wide World of Sports using Disne bus transporation?

I'm staying at Old Key West in May, and was wondering how I could get to Disney's Wide World of Sports complex. I know I could take a bus to the transportation station near the Magic Kingdom, but Old Key is all the way near Downtown Disney. So is there any easier way to get there? I want to have lunch at the Sports cafe there, and I can't think of another way to get there. Please help me out here :wave:

Depending on when you're at WDW, buses might run from the resort to the Sports Complex. They were running this weekend with the Braves, Teenage Baseball tournament, Softball tournament, and Cheerleading competition going on at the same time.

The buses were not resort specific, but one hit the values, one hit the EPCOT resorts and so on.

They don't do this all the time. If they're not running while you're there, take a bus to Pop Century and then hop a cab. The cab from there shouldn't be more than a few bucks from Pop. If you want to save time, take a cab from Key West. It's not too far.

I truthfully never saw a bus for the wide world of sports complex. i know they don't stop at the hotels. the only thing i could say is try and find out if they stop at any park. Also try going to www.allears.net and see if they got anything listed. hope this helps. if all else fails take a cab.

I read on another forum that the only direct bus is from the Studios. Don't know why that is, but that's what it said.

EDIT: Confirmed that with the WDW transportation guide from my '06 trip.

Probably because the Studios is the closest transportation hub to the WWoS. You can get to the Studios directly from just about anywhere on-property (except Downtown Disney), and then just transfer to the WWoS bus. That way, the WWoS buses don't travel that far.

I've never ever seen a bus going to the sports complex. I've always wondered about that.

The only way to get there using disney transportation is by taking the bus to the Studios, and the Wide World of Sports bus from there. This could be pretty time consuming, so you could always just take a taxi. From Old Key West it should be like 15 - 20 bucks.

Call the front desk when you get to Old Key West, we stayed there one year and asked how we could get to WWoS and they arranged for one of there courtesy vans to take us.
