As I recall, you will have the option to add some or all members of your party linked to your account to the FP+ reservations. I think it may include all members by default, and then you have to "edit" the FP+ reservation to remove the ones who don't want to ride and want a different one, but I could be remembering wrong.

Hi there,
Make the reservations for the ride that you want to do together (you do not have to book all three rides at once). Then go back in, select who wants to ride the other attraction, and make their reservation. Then select who wants to do the other attraction, and make their selection.

If you already selected attractions and would like to change them, you should be able to do this by going into your FP+, selecting the day, selecting "Select or replace" and choosing the individual members that you want to replace.

Have a great trip

when I select whole party for only one attraction it still lists two others that I haven't even chosen
example, I put in Buzz for 8, then next, says you only have one of 3 experience, I click next, it then gives 4 options with Buzz, Under the Sea and Jungle Cruise. I didn't even look at the last 2! do I have to do this, then go back and undo the two I don't want? after over 3 hours in 3 different phone calls to get us where I can even pick them and now it is telling me what I am going to ride, I am NOT happy with FP+ now, at all.

Oh, don't worry, no one is happy with FP+. Or this new system.

Yes, try redoing the last two and see if this works. So sorry. I too have found the system frustrating.

The UI of the current system definitely isn't very intuitive for larger parties wanting to do one or two attractions together and then split into smaller groups for the remaining FP+, but it is possible... it just takes some work, so bear with me here:

Since all three reservations have to be made concurrently, the easiest way would be to select everyone in your party first and reserve the experience(s) everyone wants to do together and also pick the experience(s) you and your smaller group want to do. Once you've reserved everyone's group experience(s) and the experience(s) you and your smaller group want to do, you can make your first modification by clicking "Make Changes" next to the experience the other group(s) in your party want to change:

On the top of the next page you'll first select either "Change the Experience" OR "Change the Time". Then you'll be able to select the member(s) of the party this change will apply to, so this is where the initial 'splitting' into other group(s) will take place. Check off the members you want to make this change for, as shown below, and then click "Next".

You can then choose the new experience this group wants, but you won't be able to change the time yet... we'll do that in a moment. Once you've selected the new experience click "Next" and you'll be presented with a page like this:

Click "Done" at the bottom and then "Done" at the bottom of the following page, and you'll be spit out to the My Itinerary page. Near the bottom, select "Modify FastPass+":

If you need to modify the time of the experience you just changed, select it on this new page:

Click "Next" and you'll be brought to a page that looks similar to one from a previous step, only this time, Select "Change the Time" and obviously all the members of this new, smaller group. You'll then be able to choose the new time for this experience:

Once you've finished changing the time, you'll again be spit out to the My Itinerary page. You can continue to modify experiences and times as needed by going through the "Modify FastPass+" process from this page. It's definitely a bit time consuming, but I hope this helped!

sorry for the last sentence rant, just a little frustrated, planning is supposed to be more fun, not this annoying
Your frustration epitomizes the complaints that you see online about this whole ill conceived, overpriced, concept.

There is nothing worse than making things harder for the average consumer to purchase your product than to make it too difficult and time consuming.

It's way too easy to spend your hard earned money at your regional Six Flags, or much better produced Broadway play, or a more educational venue such as Washington or many other local venues.

Disney is in competition for your entertainment dollar and they need to remember that there are many alternative options.

If they don't step up their game to the standards that the company set for themselves years ago (and others have been emulating) then they will find that somebody else will fill those shoes.

Seriously....I just had a brain meltdown reading this. You hope it helped? It helped me alright....helped me to know NEVER go to WDW with more then me and my gf. I mean Oy Vey! Who wants to go thru this. This is just for one day.....now multiply that times six or seven days. Holy Moly! Then add in trying to configure this around dining reservations and you now have a full fledged cluster fudge!

Hopefully as FP+ is officially rolled out the UI is tweaked a little to make what the OP wants to accomplish easier. The functionality is definitely there, but it's buried under several layers of repetitive menus. In my opinion, the user doesn't have enough control over the initial selection of times/experiences. Right now, the only input the user has is what three experiences they want. They system does everything else from there. If they don't pick three experiences, the system picks the remaining ones for them. The system also automatically selects the times it thinks are best for these experiences and gives four options based on the priority of the experiences you selected. You can go back and customize those times later, but it has to be done one experience at a time, and can get a bit cumbersome if changing multiple experiences for multiple people.

If just a little more control was given during the initial process, for example, a new "Customize" tab next to "Best Match!" that simply allowed users to select the times they wanted (via a drop down menu) to experience their selections parallel with selecting them, it would easily remove several of the steps involved with coordinating larger groups wanting to do a common attraction and then splitting into smaller groups.

In this scenario, the OP would have been able to make reservations based on each smaller group's preferences, selecting one common experience between each group, and then used the "Customize" tab to coordinate that common experience's time between groups.

Wow, NickC, that's a lot of effort. I'm going in April with just my parents so I now have an idea what's in store once I start making FP+ reservations in February. I know this isn't the type of thanks you want but thanks for illustrating the future of FP+, at least as currently set up.
