How do I convert quicktime to DVD format?

Hi all :wave:

Does anyone know of a program (pref. freeware) that will allow me to convert some Disney ride video's, such as the Everest ride through that is recorded in Quicktime into DVD format?

It would be much better viewing the footage on a regular tv, than sat around my monitor!

Hey stranger!

One of the better freeware programs I`ve found is MP4cam2avi - designed to convert MP4s, but will also do QT since the two are quite close in the format family.

This will give you an AVI file which should burn directly as a DVD VOB with burning software (no more encoding needed) :wave:

but is it an avi file containing mpeg2 (that is needed for bulding a dvd)?

a simple way is to just drag the files to nero .. an let it take care of all the encoding
