How Did You Find Wdwmagic.com Originally??

I hated to have to put this question in chit chat but I it didn't fit anywhere else. I wanted to know how you other members of WDWMAGIC.COM found the site originally and what specifially you came to the site to find out?.

I originally found the site last year when I heard that horizions was being permantly closed. I was looking for information on the closure and any pictures that I could find, as I was looking I found other links. I clicked a link and the story on the site I found told of the future for the Horizions with the new M:S attraction to replace horizions. While I was searching other links for M:S I found this site and a plethora of info for M:S that the other sites didn't have, and I thought WDWMAGIC had some of the best info on M:S as well as other rumors I had heard so I stayed to check in to see what was happening, especially to see if the Monorail rumors would pan out. In July I finally became a member.

So in a nut shell my answer is that I found WDWMAGIC to find out info on M:S

I found out about this site from Travelocity Magazine. My sister gets that magazine... and I was visiting her... and they had a nice, 4-5 page piece on WDW... and they had a list of the best WDW sites...and this one was listed...

Yep, just booked next years holiday and started re-reading The Unofficial Guide and discovered the website amongst its pages.

Same here. I was 7 months pregnant and it was winter in Michigan. We needed some Disney Dreaming and WDWMagic helped!!!!!!!! We seem to spend more time on line and dreaming about WDW in the winter here!

A while before I found this site, I was looking for construction/demolition pics from disney parks. I found the demolition pics of Horizons (i think it was the old version of WDWmagic.. if there was one). I lost the link and did a search for it at Excite.com. and WDWmagic was the first on the list.

Great replies In all of the sites, And maybe I'm jaded becuse I spend so much time here, WDWMAGIC is the most informative especially with some members that are in the KNOW of whats really happening. In fact some of the other discussion boards still think that the Monorail expansion is a go.

In fact, I saw the white frame and didn´t like it so I tried to take that away and make it "transparent". To be honest with you, it was the first time I tried! I was checking how it looked now with the change and saw you did it for me too! Thanks a lot!! :kiss:
