how crowded is it in March?

I am looking at booking a trip to Disneyworld March 20-25. I was wondering how the crowd is and if this is the start of spring break. Also, what kind of clothing would be best to wear in the parks in the day. We have always went in the summer months so not sure on the temps.

I've always gone around first / mid March and its alwaysca great time. Crowds are small / moderate and the spring weather here is really nice. Won't be too hot yet but will def be warm during the day. Enjoy!

I know we usually schedule our trips between June and August. So I am going to enjoy the cooler weather while we are there in March.

We love going in March. Those dates are the same as our school's Spring Break. You will see quite a few people escaping the cold of Illinois and Wisconsin. We usually leave the parks around 2 to just relax. This is when they start getting crowded. But then we go back in the evening. MK is usually open until at least midnight, and hours are often extended that day, so many people don't know. By 9, we usually feel like we have the place to ourselves.

I know in the summer months we try to get to the parks early in the morning and around lunch time try and head back to the rooms and rest. My daughters like to lay out by the pools and if we have lunch reservations somewhere it gives us some down time. My parents who are both in their 70's go with us and they enjoy it as much as we do.

Not bad but it is Springs Break for "Orange County" for Florida and you will get residence like myself who will be staying at FQTR 3/22-28.
Yeah it is spring break that week here to .I am just more excited about the weather being a bit cooler than the crowd. If we can deal with the crowds in the summer months I think we can still have a great vacation. Hope you have a great one that week.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. We did one June trip. The weather was beastly hot already in early June, and the crowds were nuts. Went back to Spring Break after that. As an added bonus, Flower and Garden Festival is lovely, too.

I have never went during the special events and that would be something to look forward to also. I am just hating that I never did the annual passes where we could just take off on a weekend and go. It is only 7 1/2 hours from where I live to Disney. Then my husband has been working in Miami for the past couple of years and that is even closer, lol!!
