How crazy is MK on 12/22 or 12/23?

We're thinking about a last minute trip MK either Monday or Tuesday, but wondered how bad the crowds would be. Can anyone give me an idea how crazy the crowds would be? Thanks! : )

Well Touringplans.com puts the crowd levels at 9 out of 10 that day. It will be very very crowded. But the Christmas decorations should be beautiful!

As me and my family were leaving the AKL yesterday, tons of people were showing up. And I mean a lot. Last week was fairly light on the crowds, but it seems as if a lot of people are showing up for this week.
