How busy is it really?

I'm not TOO concerned about it, but I'm curious. When I'm on my cruise, what are the crowds going to be like at any given time? Am I going to be squeezing through groups of people? is it gonna take a half hour each time I wanna ride the aquaduck? Is going into the pool even worth it? What about other parts of the ship? It hard to get a seat at the bar? ect..

Just did Med on Magic, so can't specify about aquaduck. However, never had a line or wait for anything except lineup for excursions and once for Animator's Palate, although we did, like everyone else in line, arrive well before our seating time. All future dinners, we did not arrive until at or after our seating time (by a minute or two) and there we no lines. It was a little cozy at the parties (Sail Away, Pirates Night, and Til We Meet Again) and at the Character Photos. Don't worry, be happy!

Oh. My. God. You have not lived. Just went on the Dream this May. Crowds?????? Pshhhh. Yes, at the restaurants if you want to get there early and you stand in a line, chatting with servers as they hand out anti-bacterial wipes. The pools? OMG. I don't know if you've been on other cruises but they all use salt-water except for jacuzzis but not Disney of course. Perfect water, and they show Disney movies on the screen throughout the day so you can swim and watch. The AquaDuck. It depends on when you go. For us it was open until midnight every night, so it was just a walk on. that late, and about 5 minutes in the day. But on the day at sea, a little crowded maybe 15 minutes... Not bad at all. The Dream also has a sports deck with mini-golf, and every ship has a movie theater with First-Run Movies, they usually make the joke, in an ominous voice "We own them." All around best cruises EVER.

I know. I'm seriously excited. I've been going to Disneyworld and Land since I was born. But have just never done a cruise. But I watched a show on Disney cruises and now it's all I can think about. I'm booked, and ready to go!

There will be crowds at time. The Aquaduck can be a line. I have seen it be 40+ minutes. I have also seen it be a walk on.

Sometimes you have trouble finding deck chairs. Sometimes they are open all over the place.

There is plenty to do on the ship. If one area is crowded there will be others that are not. It is never overwhelming (well the deck parties can be packed) but it's a big ship, people tend to spread out.

The pool can get very crowded though. They are small pools (as on any ship) and if you are in the family one, expect kids to be jumping in all over the place. The adult only pool is a lot calmer.

Crowds on the cruise are nothing like what you experience in the parks. Everything is built to handle the guest capacity of the ship. You might see a bit of a crowd at the beginning of dinner or a show and you will see a bit of a line at something like the AquaDuck or character meets n greets but waits and crowds are for the most part minimal.

the only real crowds you see on the Dream are when you first board until the cabins open up. Then once your able to get to your cabin things kind of spreed out and thin out. Then you will crowds again when its time to leave the ship. Rest of the time its great!!
