How 'Bout Moving Zootopia into Toontown?

I've said this before...why does every film that comes out NEED it's own attraction?
They don't. But, if you're going to dream about that kind of stuff, where else are you going to express it but a park forum? And this started because I just see a way Toontown could be be remodeled into Zootopia in a relatively quick n' nifty fashion. One city replaces another.

That is promising to hear. I hope we don't end up with another recycled Madagascar, The Wild, Over The Hedge, Chicken Little, or any other of the numerous animal-based animated films we have been fed time and time again. They've done bugs, rodents, penguins, fish, and ninja pandas to name just a few. Soon enough the idea pool will run dry.
Yeah, I had little interest in this film until more of the plot started getting revealed and it turned out to be an alternate-reality cop film. Really appealing characters in a genre Disney animation's never tackled before. Hopin' for the best...

It looks like it might be great, but lets hope its doesnt get political or have too many pop culture references.
Having spoiled most of the plot for myself, I think I can safely say it doesn't get too political--just touches on things enough to make it interesting. I don't know about pop culture refs (which I hate), but do expect animal puns a-plenty--but in a good way. There's a scene online involving a "We need to address the elephant in the room" gag. In a lesser film, the pun would be the scene's only point, but here the joke serves as a lead-in to a really great, funny moment that adds emotional depth to a whole roomful of characters. I think that one scene is what's really sold me on this one so far. Good writers and directors on board.

But, this would just be one film-based attraction replacing another. I agree it'd be GREAT to see non-film attractions built, but Iger has pretty much stated that he won't risk millions of dollars building attractions unless they're based on proven, popular I.P.s going forward. It's now up to the Imagineers to take those I.P.s and do something amazing with them, instead of coming up with great original concepts like Mystic Manor.

Trust me, I'd rather have a Zootopia Land than a Star Wars Land (*vomit*) at Disneyland.

I just don't like settling and accepting the decisions being made for Disneyland. I don't know what sickens me more, Tomorrowland or the upcoming Star Wars Land (after typing that out, the answer is Star Wars Land).
