How bad is all this stuff really? I mean, to you more senior WDW fans, have there ever been such huge cutbacks? Is this all really as bad as it seems?:(

Over the past 10 years, WDW has undergone immense expansion. As a result even with the closings and cutbacks, there is still more to do than there was the first time I went in 1990. It is distrubing the quick measures that are being taken to maintain profitability but they have to do something. With any downturn revenues are tight. You have to make the most of what you have.

That's why I don't see the point in cancelleing a trip just because of a few closures and a reduction in shows etc. I mean it's a pity, especially for those people who are going, but there is still soooo much to do there.

You can be at Disney for a week and not go into the parks and still not run out of things to do. I know, I've done it.

BTW, I think they should cut back on the Meet & Greets. If you're going to scale back might as well do it right. :animwink:
