I am doing the Dining Plan for the first time, I know I have read info about this before but don't know how to find it. Are the credits split into kids meals and adults meals? LIke, say I was staying 2 nights so I had 4 sit downs could i use all 4 on adult meals and buy the kids meal seperate?

again sorry, i am sure this has been discussed before

They are split up adult and children 3-9. Children must order from the children's menu where available (most everywhere). Say you have 3 adults (or Junior child) for 3 nights then you would have 9 table service adult, 3 child table service, 9 counter service adult, 3 child counter service, and 12 total snacks.

How lenient are they on the kids menu? Would they make a grilled cheese if asked?

We asked if DD could order a child size portion of the regular menu items since she was not into the kid's menu. (It is not impressive, especially if your child eats regular food and not Pizza, Mac & Cheese, chicken nuggets all the time) They would not do this, I really wished I would have paid the extra money for a junior ticket. She was great about it and at some places she and I switched or I paid for hers out of pocket.

It nevers hurts to ask about other items for kids at TS. We've had some success doing this. I think the CMs realize the kids' menus have very limited choices and that a lot of kids are picky eaters. They don't seem to mind these sorts of requests at all.
