Housekeepers change throughout a week's stay so we've always left a daily tip.

Just returned home yesterday. We leave a tip daily. This way the person cleaning the room that day gets it.

Daily, but it depends on the attention weve received. There have been some stays where the care our room received was under standard and the tip wasnt left. I expect a room and areas to look like it was cleaned.

I agree and that makes sense. But how will you know in advance? You leave less the next day then?

When we have the same mousekeeper for several days in a row. We have on some trips met them as we are leaving our room and they have their cleaning carts along the row of rooms and voiced our desire for better attention to our room.
