House of Mouse!

Hey, I got a new idea for a resteraunt in Disney Studios and i just wanted to run it by you guys...

When my family went to eat at the sci-fi drive-in resteraunt, we didn't hav that good of a time and the movies repeated themselves after we had finished eating, so i came up with a new idea for a resteraunt there.

They can keep the screen, and instead of playing sci-fi clips, they turn the theater to a House of Mouse style theater like the show on The Disney Channel. They could have a "Cartoon Director" or w/e the name would be, and he could introduce the cartoons on a small stage in front of the screen. They could play new disney cartoons like they do on House of Mouse, along with old classics and little bits of animated movies. You could all enjoy this over a nice, family style lunch, they could also, If popular, make it into a character lunch.

Well, it kida sounds ok. In my opinion, I really love the Sci-Fi dine in theater. Even though the food isn't really that good. Your idea really doesn't seem like the House of Mouse. The House of Mouse has been cancelled if I believe. It baislicly doesn't sound like much. It wouldn't really be an improvement over the current resturaunt, Other than the fact that its a character dining thing and all you see is cartoons and characters. How about moving it to the Animation Backlot, and maybe improve this idea alot more. Just add more stuff to make it more exciting.

I think that sounds like a cute idea but I enjoy the Sci-Fi drive in. Maybe they could keep the Sci-Fi and make a whole new place for the House of Mouse??

I had the same idea a while back. I thought that the Animation Courtyard where Playhouse Disney is now would be a better location. Maybe move the Playhouse Disney show to the TV Theater where Doug use to be (which is currently empty).

I love that idea don't think it should replace sci-fi just placed some where else in the parks and I hope the show has not been canceled and if so when did that occur because I am still watching it the Disney Channel as well as Toon Disney

Thanks for your input, I guess I'll try to find a better location and then when I get bored I might draw some concept art.

yeah... this has been talked about a few times, and I've always thought the idea to make a House of Mouse restaurant was a good one. I think it should go in the Studios, but it could also work in the MK... But, the studios would probably be the best.
I'm not too sure where it should be, but WDW should look into it.
They should include some animatronics in the restaurant too, I think... it wouldn't be the house of Mouse without some characters hanging around, interacting.

I thought about that a while back, and thought it would be popular as a Chuck-e-cheese or Bullwinkle's type of Family chain resturaunt. They could have a big screen in the middle of the stage and show cartoons and maybe a few songs from Disney movies, and have animatronics Mickey, Minnie Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Pete introduce the cartoons. They could even have a fake kitchen door with goofy working in the kitchen and have smoke and noises coming out of the door. They could even have a little box-seat type thing off to the side that would rotate with table sce nes with characters like pumbaa and timon and ariel etc. Then, there could be an arcade area with original disney games like they have in Disney Quest (like whack-an-alien) Considering how popular places like Bullwinkle's and Chuck-E-Cheese are, I'm sure something with recognizable characters like Mickey would be HUGE.
