No Voodoo!

Change is good (maybe) but I'll miss the Voodoo Shrimp.
Pan-seared shrimp + an amazing sauce + a slab of cornbread = perfect.
Sad to see it off the menu...

Juicy Lucy Burger......$14.99

Geeze...I remember when ESPN Club charged $9.00 for a burger aand I thought that was rediculously expensive.

I may try this burger though. Hoping it's a case of "You get what you pay for"

The new menu looks to be a vast improvement over the old one. A lot of these items sound really good. I think I might have to pay them a re-visit and see if the food tastes better now.

Great food item. One of my favorites. At least it will be available at other House of Blues (Chicago, Cleveland).

I have had twice since Sunday night. It really seems as if the restaurant really took a step in the right direction with the food. Everyone in my party loved it. The quality of the menu really went up.

I'm glad to hear that. Maybe the new menu will be good enough that I won't miss the Elwood sandwich as much as I anticipate. I'm glad they kept the bread pudding!

I wonder if he is doing the food at all HoBs because I saw the Vegas Mandalay Bay locale was advertising it when I was there last week ... didn't eat there though I usually do. And didn't even walk by the Anaheim one later in the week.

But I do always enjoy my meals at HoB. And they're even better in O-Town with Happy Hour specials and $25 restaurant.com certificates for $2-3 ... and you never have to wait very long to get in.

Hope to try it again next month.

Aren't the theme park burgers now in the $9-10 range?

I know I had a Pecos Bill burger recently and it is much better than one from say three years ago ... but it's not worth the absurd price points. :xmas:
