If you were Paul Pressler and thinking about more hotels and delating some, what would you delate? Make?
in WDW of course

I would have a:
1) Planet Hollywood Hotel
2) Roman Hotel
3) Paris hotel
4) British hotel
5) Rest of europe hotel
6) Australia/ New Zealand hotel
7) Russian hotel
8) asian hotel
DELATE
1) Pop Century
2) Movies
3) All*star
4) shade of green-i think it should be opened to the public too

get rid of those horrid all-stars, and lets pretend pop century never happened. i think shades of green needs better theming, but *dont* close it, military discount r0x. keep contemporary, polynesian, grand floridian, boardwalk, yacht & beach club, port orleans. build the original asian, venetian, and persian resorts that were planned from the beginning. i also have an idea for a rockin' epcot resort, but i wont say what its about. hush, hush.

Heading for the great escape.
The British hotel sounds like a real winner.
The resort could be over priced, offer poor service from really miserable staff, all of whom have realistic dental problems, all themed in a cross section of areas featuring historic England that never was.

The range of table service restaurants could feature realistic dishes, such as Balti chicken curry, Tandorri chicken, Donner Kebabs, and sweet n sour balls.

The Scottish themed food court would feature a wide variety of deep fried food, including haggis and Mars bars. All washed down with Irn Bru.

To add to the experience guests would be treated to CMs with realistic middle east accents selling the Big Issue and trying to pick their pockets.

I wouldn't take away any either. They offer different price ranges for everyone. I would add a hotel with a Haunted Mansion/Tower of Terror theme. I think that would be fun and you could do it up so brilliantly!!!!!!!

I woildn't close the All-Stars....
but I may upgrade the rooms...pools...and area...
I do think the idea is great...but when the plan went form paper to cement...it lost many of its "cool-ness"

But I would open a HUGE RESORT!!
I already designed it....

THE PACIFIC RESORT....
Made up of 6 areas: ( the buildings are small...think that of 1/2 the average village at CB)
Alaskan...(moderate)
Canadian...(deluxe)
Washington...(value)
California...(moderate)-beach
Oreagon....(sp?) (value)
Hawaii...(deluxe)-beach

Each area would have there own pool(s)...small food shop/court...and bus stop....the better the area...the better the amenties...

The main area...would consist of a gigantic pool (outlined of the pacific coast)....with "coastal" slide....and large food court....

it should be a crime for that not to happen, that is the best hotel idea i have ever heard of! a haunted hotel is such a great idea i cant believe it hasnt been done. special effects in the mirors in the rooms. holograms ath the bottom of the pool. The possibilities are endless. i can even see them offering you a scary wake up call at random times just to make things spookier. SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN. i would pay tons to get to stay here.

You must think of small kids....with that kinda idea....
It may be great for adults and teens....and would prob make a killing at halloween....

But I'm not sure Disney could get Families to stay there....:veryconfu

Do u guys know what I'm sayin'

I mean the idea is excellent....especially yours "bhg"....
but we all most must remember....Disney is a company...and will only put out...what will bring the money in....
not that a resort like that couldn't bring in the money...but I don't think it would be enough to meet disney standards....

I dunno...maybe its just me...:veryconfu

i totally see where your coming from and you make a great point. but there are alot of people my age going without kids or parents. im thinking instead of the rancheros or the casitas at coronado you could have sections depending on what you want your expierience to be. it could be less scary in some places and mickeys not so scary in others. its not like this would ever happen anyway it would just bee too great if it did.

Happy Snapper,

Don't forget if you have a London Hotel you have to make the rooms very very small.

Keep the AS's or I will have to go back to staying off property or making fewer visits to WDW:(

As for Shades of Green, Disney did eliminate that hotel. They sold it! It is for Military AND DoD civilian employees. So join the military or get a job with DoD and you too can stay at SoG.

Epcot is my fav

I definitely wouldn't delete any of the current resorts, update and change a bit but not get rid of all together.
I really like the Haunted Hotel idea. That would certainly entice families with teenagers, groups of gothic people etc to stay, LOL.
I was always surprised they didn't have a character themed hotel.
Like one whole building the princesses, one wing to Beauty and the Beast, another Cinderella, etc
Next building: villians, Malificent, wicked Step-Mother, Jafar, Skar <sp?>
Next all original characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald etc.
I'm rambling now, but I always thought they would have something along those lines. :lookaroun

I would love to pretend that Pop-Century never happened. I was all set with the 3 Value resorts, personally. I would love to see a Roman Hotel, like the Venetian in Las Vegas, but I like the idea of the Aladdin themed hotel even more.

I think Disney would be able to do an amazing job with that. I don't want one like a value resort, but an extravagant deluxe resort! That would be amazing, and I would definately stay there!

I really like your idea Bailey! I would totally stay there!!

Anyways I love the resorts that are there I would only suggest putting in some more reasonably priced hotels(moderates or value) near MK. I love being close to MK but not for $$$ a night.
