Hotel room temperatures

My parents had a problem with the heat in December, it wouldn't shut off. I know old people like the room warm but when I walked in for a visit I almost melted. They finally called the front desk and maintenance said it was a stuck sensor.

We stayed at 3 resorts this past trip (got more yesterday and already have the post Disney blues). We have no issues setting the AC to 68 degrees at both AoA and AKV Kidani Village. However at POR, I could not get the themostat to go below 73.
