We took a cruise out of Port Canaveral and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Cocoa Beach. It was a great hotel and it was clean, but I don't think this one will be helpful because they do not offer a shuttle to the port. It's driving me crazy because I can't think of the name of the hotel that everyone we spoke to was staying at. It was close to the port...you had a view of it form the hotel. It offered a shuttle and free parking for your car while on your cruise. I will try to track down which one it was. It was popular so a lot of people must like it. Sorry it is escaping me at this moment.

Radisson at the Port is very clean, well priced, and has a shuttle there. A cab was $12ish which is what we did but just gave him a $20 because he was early and very entertaining.

I like the Radisson as well. They have a parking package and shuttles to the port if you want to go that route.
I've stayed at the Residence Inn and really liked that too. The pool is better at the Radisson, but the suites and hot breakfast at the Residence Inn are great. :)

The Radisson is going to be most popular because of its proximity to the port. Only downside is it is not oceanfront if you are planning to visit the beach the day before.

I liked the Hampton Inn at Cocoa Beach, they offered stay and park package (a few extra bucks to leave your car there while you are on your cruise), as well as a free shuttle to port. They also (like all Hampton Inns) have free hot breakfast in the morning - eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, alongside fruit, cereals, oatmeal, coffee, juice, etc. Grabbed some in the morning before getting on the shuttle, as well as when the shuttle returned us before I headed for my car since I opted not to eat on the ship that morning (too hectic, and I was headed to WDW afterwards, so I wanted to get a 'full' day in)
The hotel was also clean, no complaints on the rooms or pool or upkeep.

Mike, for questions about your actual cruise, rather than the hotel, you should read the FAQ at the top of this forum. There is a TON of great info in there. It will be a huge help to you.
