Hotel Music

I was just wondering, I have found that many of the resorts on Disney property have their own background music loops. For example AK Lodge, Fort Wilderness, The Polynesian and a few others. What I was wondering is if there is any kind of a music loop at the Contemporary Resort or at the Pop Century resort?

Thanks

There is a music loop at Pop Century. You can hear it inside the food court/shopping area, and also at the bus stop. It includes pop music from over the decades. Among the songs I remember hearing are MmmBop and The Hustle (by the way -- the food court cast members all get together once an afternoon and do the hustle dance in front of God and everybody right in the middle of the food court).

I'd be surprised if anything at WDW didn't have a music loop of some kind.

The All Stars and Pop Century use different loops for different areas. The lobbies play generic music (commercial radio songs and Disney themes), but the specific areas play appropriate themed music. At All Star Music, they play music that's appropriate for your section (Jazz in Jazz, country in country, Rock in Rock, etc.) I imagine Pop Century has music appropriate for the section's time period.

Of course, the moderate and deluxe resorts have themed music for the whole resort. AKL has tribal african music. CBR has tropical music. GF has classical-style music. Etc.

I don't know any details about these loops, though. Hopefully some more of 'em will surface on the net at some point.
