Hotel blow dryers....

I really like my personal blow dryer but I don't want to bring it because its about 4-5 lbs (think professional dryer) that I don't want to put in my luggage weight. Talk to me about the hotel dryers, I am sure they are the typical hotel kind that are attached to the wall. Are they decent? I assume it doesn't have a nozzle attachment?

I probably won't bring mine but I still want to have nice hair while there.

Phew! Thats ok. Old saying here in Scotland ( only one T ) That your as old as you feel. But since my bonnie wee lass is 14 years younger than me.That makes me the happiest cranky young Scotsman in the shire. And of course I'd share my drink.

I have had small issues with the hair dryer at AoA overheating and needing to cool down before it would turn back on, i have quite long hair, it took me about 10-15 minutes to completely dry my hair using the hair dryer provided, also found strands of my air would get sucked in the back of the dryer where the fan part is.

Those cheapo HDs always end up sucking up my hair! Ouch! Especially when I flip my hair over to dry it upside down.
Also if you are prone to frizz, they are the worst. On the other hand, you are in FL, so all the best blow outs and/or products probably aren't going to prevent that.

Us girls from Jersey don't have that problem we bring our own dryers teasing combs and humidity proof hairspray!

Hate 'em!!! I have mid-length, but thick hair. Those hair dryers take forever for me. Not to mention that my hair hates Florida anyway so anything I can do to make it look somewhat decent is what I'm going to do, even if it means bringing my own dryer...I never travel without it. On another note, on a trip a few years ago, my mom and I were in rooms right next to each other at PORS and happened to be using the wall hair dryers at the same time and we blew a fuse. Oops.
