Slaw and chili do NOT belong on a Chicago dog! I don't know what to call that thing, but that isn't it! Not even close!
Our first visit, we had dogs at Casey's (2008), and they were surprisingly good. But since then, they have changed suppliers, and while the hot dog was still OK, the bun was really stale tasting. I think we'll skip it from now on.
Quite right @MouseDreaming..It was the BBQ Slaw dog I had. My DW had the Chicago dog..Oops  Who let the Dogs out.

The Grand Floridian has this Reuben hot dog...very good. Sometimes I like a simple hotdog with mustard and raw onions. BUT...a hot dog with BBQ sauce...cole slaw and french fries...awesome.
Interesting! I had a Rueben Dog @ the Launching Pad a few years ago and it was really good and was my favorite dog in WDW. Then of course they took it off of the menu @ the Launching Pad, but it is good to hear that it is available @ the GF. The next best is the Pulled Pork Slaw Dog. Delicious on a roll!

Last night I was driving down Bloomfield Ave. in Newark last night and passed by Dickey Dee's. One great place to get an Italian hot dog. (fried hotdog with fired onions, peppers and potatoes served on 1/2 of a small round italian bread! note to self pick up vegan hotdogs. So any way what do you think is the best hotdog in Disney?
It's not Disney but try JJ's on Bloomfield Ave. in the park...get a sweet works...AMAZING

Dickey Dee's also has some pretty killer pizza...

Now that we're talking about it, you picked out my lunch later...I shall venture the 2 miles into the ghetto for hot dogs!

I got the hot dog with BBQ meat on it at Casey's...because of the posters here raving about it! It was very good, but it's really a crapload of meat with a hot dog buried somewhere under it, lol. I don't think one person could actually finish it. Well, that guy on TV who eats massive amounts of food could...and I'm sure some others. But your average Joe couldn't.

Usually, I get a plain hot dog and add small bits of condiments. Most of the hot dogs in Disney are the same dog. :)

That's it! I was treated to a couple shows when visiting a relative. That guy can eat a TON of food!!!

Very strangely he stopped doing the Man vs Food show quite abruptly. He changed the name and he personally stopped doing the eating contests and had others doing the massive eating. I always thought that he must have gone to his doctor and his cholesterol and blood pressure were off the scale and he was told to stop the binge eating. o_O Just a guess.

My only regret is that i haven't had a hot dog at WDW, every time we walk past Casey's i start drooling, but DW can't stand the site of them, so we always end up eating else where...although I am taking DD13 in September and she loves hot dogs, so i imagine Casey's will be one of our first stops together!

mmmm...Sabrett's hot dogs. Can't get those here. Only Nathans. Although, the Vienna dogs available at most stands around here are pretty good, but those dogs don't snap. I remember we used to live by a Sabrett's outlet, and we would stop and pick some up to cook up after church on Sunday.

I know I may be clubbed like a baby seal in March, but I hated the dogs at Casey's. My friend Lee raved about them, so I figured after all these years I should try one. I was excited to try it....it looked really good....and then....bleh. Like another poster said, the bun was iffy. The dog didn't have that snap that Sabrett/Nathans has and the spices were just blah. But to each his own....I can find something that I will eat and save a seat at Casey's for someone who needs one!
