There have been assorted things done. The ride vehicles were supposedly sold to some kind of park in Mexico, although I thought I had heard that they never ended up being used. You can see one or two of the flying car type props on the tram tour at Disney Studios Paris. Another prop has been painted and used as decor at the Backlot Express restaurant at our own Disney/MGM Studios. And, as always, the MouseSurplus warehouse somehow gets their hands on various props and portions of show scenes and sells them to the general public. They just sold a portion of the neon-50s future part of the Looking Back at Tomorrow segment a few months ago for about $200, if I remember right.

Yeah, they demolished it. It took some work, though. It sounded like the wrecking balls would just bounce off the thing.

Hey marni, do you happen to know what became of Horizons two signs, the main one and the little one?

I have often wondered if they are safe or belong to someone now.

Last March I took the UnDISCOVERed Futureworld Tour at Epcot and went into a break room at Ellen's Energy Adventure. I saw a note book tucked away on the shelf that said "Horizons Drawings". I don't know if they were the origianl sketches for the ride, or some sort of joke book. I was afraid to touch it because I didn't want the tour guide to get mad at me, she was very nice. However, I think it was something important because it looked old and was with other important information.

Who knows; they may end up at MouseSurplus. There again it`s 6 years now and nothing has appeared. Don`t be surprised if they just got flattened - a lot of the show sets and the Omnimax theatres were just crushed, as well as the entire ride system (not ride vehicles though)
