Horizons Corporate Lounge

There was absolutely no windows in the Corporate lounge in the former Horizons building in Epcot. What they did have though... was a pretty cool camera network. They had video cameras mounted in various places in the park, and they had the monitors and controls in the lounge that you could control and watch.

Ah, the Horizons corporate lounge was the coolest ever! I loved sitting in there with my glass of coke and tangerine candy while watching the big video screen. I miss Horizons so much.

I've had some interesting conversations with a GE Representative who worked at Horizons for about a decade. She really loved the lounge...and the camera! The CMs had a blast zooming into people all around the area.

I never knew that! Man, that must have been a blast... haha... The only lounge I have been in is the old Annual Passholder's lounge from 2 years ago above the Garden Grill. I loved getting drinks from the Coke machine, getting visits from Mickey & the gang, and watching the crowd on Living with the Land... memories.... :lol:

A bit of news . . .Kodak's lounge at Imagination is closing despite its new ten-year contract.

The upstairs of the Imagination building is now used as offices and training centers for CMs. I went up there (as a CM) last year for a little tour.

I remember back in the day when i was really young, my dad worked for AT&T, i went with him and was in a room in Spaceship Earth, i think it was a corp. lounge accually. But i was young at the time so i dont remember it well, i remember a water cooler tho

LOL sounds like a memory i have of the Horizons Corporate lounge My dad got our tickets from GE when i was like 3 or 4...but i have interesting memories of it!!

I think it was red and purple (that could just be my imagination because those are my favorite colors)
BUT i do remember seeing video monitors ... wasnt there a robot who took your pictures or something?
LOL lets see what else do i remember... I think there was a BIG TALL (remember i was 4) receptionist type desk... I'll have to ask if my parents remember that

The Living Seas corporate lounge is amazing. It is done in dark wood and deep blue with sculpture all down the entryway hall. On the inside it is set up like a supper club with all the tables facing windows into the tank. There was a clear piano from what I remember. Also off to the side was a fair sized conference room/board room. I wish I had my camera along with me.
