Hop De Doo Referb?

I am hearing on other boards that Hoop De Doo will be closing for refirbishment. Some are saying on Oct 1 - End of December, but others are saying closing in August and anyone with ADR's will be getting phone calls to cancel. Anyone heard anything?

Hope this doesn't have anything to do with a permanent closure related to the FW DVC discussed in the other thread....

I tried to make reservations for the last full week in October and couldn't Wish I knew what was up:shrug: We just did the show when we were there last month and had a great time.. we were really looking forward to doing it again.

I've got reservations at Hoop de Doo for September 25th so I'll be interested in what happens.

The word I have is closing October 1st for a three month renovation. I would imagine they would try for a christmas re-open but that is just a guess. We tried for ressies during our trip in October and got shot down so I did some digging around and confirmed the renovation. We were disapointed since we had never done this and were looking forward to it but I understand they have to close down sometime....it will be even better on our next trip in two years.

Internal Disney calendars are showing Hoop Dee Doo as operational during October. The 180 day mark as of today is oct 22nd however it is not uncommon for Hoop Dee Doo to not be available to book immediatly. Bookings for September opened just a few days ago.

We would like to return to Hoop-Dee-Doo this year but am unsure if it's going to be open in November or not. I've seen nothing on the Disney site.

I'll be making ADR's this coming Friday.

We will be going in October to! we wanted to go to the show but i cant find any info! :wave:

I will be going to the show this June, I had difficulty booking it at 180 days out. It wasnt until about 120 days out that they let me book. I wouldn't sweat it, just keep trying.

I'm just glad it wasn't a re-phineas.

I'm glad the building is getting some love, now if they'd just spend some of that money for the rights to the Hoop Dee Doo Polka.
