Hoop dee doo upstairs - What to expect?

We have a PS for the Hoop Dee Doo on 7/17 at 7:15. I had to add my inlaws to our party recently so I am expecting to have seats upstairs.

If anyone has ever sat upstairs I would love to hear some feedback on how it is up there.

Thanks :)

How large is your party? We had 9 people and sat in the center of the main floor.
Upstairs is just a balcony lined with tables. The view of the stage is fine, but you may not be part of the "wandering Show". Though last time the CM's were upstairs during one of the songs.

You should have a great time. Relax and go with the flow.

Not that bad

We did the Hoop Dee Doo a couple of weeks ago and we had balcony seats. The view from the stage is not that bad. One of the CMs actually went upstairs and introduced our family during one of their songs. It was actually pretty cool.

The larger parties are usually seated on the floor. We had a party of 3 and sat upstairs on one trip and on the last trip we had a party of 4 and sat 1 table away from the stage. It looked to me like the maximum capacity for the upstairs tables is 4, but don't quote me.

My husband and I were a party of two and were seated upstairs. When we ate, our backs were to the balcony ( and everyone sitting downstairs). When it was time for the show, we just swiveled our seats around to view the stage. The only drawback was we were seated near one of the main support poles up in the balcony, so our view was slightly obstructed.

Other than that, the food was great and the show was fun! The cast does make it a point to include the balcony crowd - they came up and asked us where we were from, and announced our 1 year anniversary!:)

I've sat both on the floor and on the balcony, and I personally liked the balcony better. On the balcony you can see everything that goes on in the show, and like others have said, we were included in the show. The balcony also makes a better place to eat because there is not as much noise from the other tables.

We did the Revue last Feb and made reservations only 3 weeks ahead of time. We had a party of 6 and and they only had 2 nights during the week when they had openings and we had a table on the floor. I do not think they put bigger parties in the balcony.... or so I have heard. We sat in the back but we could see fine and we had a blast.... we're going back this Dec. :sohappy:
