hoop dee doo for adults???

was wondering if any of you thought it silly that my wife and i are attending hoop de doo and we don't have kids going with us! i have been before (yes the one in the tu tu) but she hasn't seen it. the food's good and even as an adult i had a great time! well... my question is do you think hoop dee doo is just for families with children?

No WAY! I think it's more for adults if you ask me! They way they keep bringing the free booze and the people that walk out of there pretty drunk I think it's certainly an adult environment. I'm not saying it's not for kids, but a lot of little kids won't get the jokes. The kids will like the dancing and singing but some of the jokes are adult-oriented.

This was the favorite thing we did two trips ago. My son was 15 and old enough to "get it" and my husband and I couldn't get enough of the unlimited Sangria!!!

Definitely not just for kids - I'd go with my DH in a heartbeat!

I would love to go back with or without kids. Although nothing will beat our first time and watching my DH on stage in the tutu!!!:ROFLOL:Enjoy it with just your wife an try to get picked to go on stage!!:)

Hoop Dee Doo, and almost everything at Disney is for adults and kids. Go, have fun, enjoy, be a kid!

You will see just as many adults only groups there as families. Its great fun if you like good food, corny jokes and songs. Go, enjoy yourself. :wave:

I'll be at Hoop Dee doo in just over a month with no kids. Never been before but I just kind of assumed that everything on offer is great for kids and adults. Disney has never let me down before!

I think it is more for adults than kids! It's a vaudeville type musical revue that gets the crowd involved with the singing, dancing and jokes. There are no Disney characters here. Although my kids had fun (5 and 7), I think my husband and I enjoyed it more.

I feel dumb, I don't even know what it is! We are AP holders and go a lot, and I have never seen or heard of it!:shrug:

Yes, as someone who thinks most of WDW's attractions are aimed at kids, I think this one is mostly for adults. I don't know if the jokes would be quite as funny without the alcoholic drinks included, but we loved the show.

Definatey a MUST DO!!!! But make sure your wife doesn't let them know that her husband is a perfect angel. My wife did,and she had been to the show before, and I have never lived it down since.:eek:
