Hoop de Doo late show?

Had to book the 9:30pm show for the HDDMR on Friday Sept 21st.(earlier seating was sold out)
However someone cautioned me that very often, during slow seasons, the 9:30 show gets cancelled due to lack of reservations.
It's our last night there so we'd be out of luck to reschedule, plus we are saving 2 TS credits on our dining plan for that show.
Wondering if I should try to change to a different day, or how much truth is in this possible cancellation? Anyone?

Never had one cancelled on me.

They often move the Cat 3 people down to the main floor for that show.

I've been there when even the main floor is only about half full, but never had them cancel.

This has always been our experience as well. We always do the late show and never had one cancelled on us, no matter how empty it may be. We have been moved to the floor, but in all honesty I would much rather stay up in the balcony, but it is what it is.

I prefer Cat 3 to Cat 2 as well!

What they almost always do, however, is not seat anyone upstairs. This is why I always tell people to book Category 3, because you'll rarely (if ever) be sat there.

Have a great time...the 9:30 performance is almost always the rowdiest and the most fun (because it attracts a lot of CM's, who get a discount at that performance).

Hoop dee is a must every trip!! We always book the early!!! My hubby has been in the show twice!!

We had booked the 9:30 show in May because that's the only one we could get a discount with the Tables in Wonderland card. They called to tell me it was cancelled but they were able to rebooked us for the 5pm show and I was still able to keep the discount so it was a win for us. We originally wanted that show but when I called to book it they said only the 9:30 show was available for the discount.

So even in the boom of summer the 3rd show can be trimmed..

If there are not enough people for the show they will cancel it. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen a decent amount of time, especially during slow periods of the year.

Thank you! I see that it does happen. I'm still torn because we ARE going Mid-September, BUT our ADR is on a Friday Night. I figure if any night would be busier, would be weekends. (just guessing)
