Haven't done the show in awhile, but I don't see why you would have any problems making reservations at this point. Actually, as I recall (and I know they used to do this, it may have changed)...Disney would hold some reservations for the week of the show. That way people who didn't plan still have an opportunity to get in.

The show itself was pretty fun, I bet you would enjoy it...but for me personally it was a do once kindda thing.

For a few years, I was single and therefore could decide at the last minute to go to WDW. When I got to the parks in the morning, I would call Pioneer Hall and see if they had any openings. I always have succeeded in this and as soon as I had a chance, I would go to either the Contempory or the Poly and purchase the tickets. If you don't know for sure you want to do the Hoop-de-doo, and you are staying on Disney property, inquire at check in. Or if what's available at the time (10:00 pm show) is not good for you, then I would try to call in the morning to see if there are any cancellations.

Reservations shouldn't be a problem, I'm sure you can make them even when your down there for a later show.

I had an opportunity to see it about 8 years ago. It was ok, you get a big bucket of fried chicken. But, it is about $50 bucks a person, which in my wallet is too much.

You might want to see it at least once, but I do know that I'll never see it again. It's something you only have to see once.

That's near a peak time, so I'm not sure...it's suggested to reserve 2 years in advanced.

I can only tell you that my friends and I enjoyed the Dinner and the Show very much. It is very family oriented, and the cast involves the audience, which makes the experience a lot of good old fashioned fun.

The food was good and plentiful, coming around to your table in courses, so you get some salad first, then fried chicken and BBQ ribs, vegetables, drinks, and finally dessert.

Who's suggesting that???

Pioneer Hall has their own ticket office, same-day reservations are available.

Go ahead and book the show. The comedy is a little on the corny side, but the entertainers do a great job with it, and the food isn't too bad. I mean, it's not Emeril's but it doesn't claim to be, either. You'll have fun!
