Crazy right? Which the HK govt would be on the hook for over half. I kinda don't blame them for wanting to try and negotiate a better deal. That's a LOT of taxpayer money.

OK weird. I just read a different article that lists the figures at $1.4 billion total ($750m from HK, $650m from Dis)...that's a pretty large discrepancy. Unless we're talking in terms of their dollars...

In HK they don't feel the need to say the "Hong Kong" part of the name constantly, because everyone knows which park they're referring to.

HK has to be on the hook. They own 53% which means they pony up 53% of the investment money.
