The fiancee and I are trying to decide what to do for our honeymoon.

We fell in love over our love for Disney (go back to previous threads and read the whole story if you'd like).

We love Disney World, but we're a little leery about it for our honeymoon because when I think honeymoon, I look at it like this:
1. A honeymoon should be relaxing, not walking everywhere sightseeing, which is why we axed a cruise right off the bat

2. That's why we're "eh" on disney.

3. We would love to do Aulani, but know it's incredibly expensive.

Thoughts? opinions?

Thanks!

Why not Disney World lead into a Disney Cruise. It's not St. Lucia but Disney's Island is pretty Incredible and there is an adult only section!;)

A Disney cruise is an excellent idea and maybe combine it with a few nights at a deluxe dinner at V&A resort hop relax, spa treatment for 2 and maybe just a little time in the parks to get your Disney fix! Happy Disneymoon!!!!!!!

I think your honeymoon is what you make it to be- and what you want it to be.

I have always wanted to honeymoon in disney world - main reason for me is because its so magical! The fireworks etc- I have never seen sooo amazing than at disney.

If I could -I would have definitely done the disney cruise, particularly after seeing trip reports of them- then you get the best of both being at disney world and the relaxing/ indulgent side.

WDW doesn't have to be hectic.

I love bicycling in Fort Wilderness. It's quite when everyone's gone for the day. There's also miniature golf, tennis, boating, watermarks, etc

The key is not to plan to be inside the 4 theme parks from Rope Drop to closing. You could make every other day a theme park day.

Actually our Disney Cruise was VERY relaxing! It's all what you want to do...you can pack your day with activities or just stay on your verandah or the adult hot tub/pool areas and watch the world go by. It was absolutely amazing for us.
