Homemade Slip n' Slide

Hey everybody!
Recently i've been seeing some videos online of people making slip n' slides in their own yards, and all of them look really fun! I know that you need tarp and water (like a hose) for the actual slip and slide part, but if I wanted it to go down a hill into a lake, how would I smooth the surface underneath?

i hope someone answers the question for you, since i bumped the thread
i would put a plastic or a surface made from something similar underneath me or something and then let water flow in the "plastic", then slide in it, and if you want, arrive in a lake
