The system is working fine!

I just got an email from an FBI agent in Houston thanking me for surfing Club Hooters.

Thats fake until I see it on a real news site.
Be careful what you put in that Google search. The U.S. government may now spy on web surfing of anyone in the world, including terms entered into search engines, by merely telling a judge anywhere in the U.S. that the spying could lead to information that is "relevant" to an ongoing criminal investigation. The person spied on does not have to be the target of the investigation. This application must be granted and the government is not obligated to report to the court or tell the person spied upon what it has done. Can you think of a search term that is sure to interest the FBI? Can you say Al-Qa'ida? I knew you could.

P.S. As I said, they track you with a nonintrusive method. You'll never know you are being watched and you can't use the Freedom of Information Act to learn about ongoing investigations.
