grooving
I don't really get it, but why does Disney seem to (nearly) hide the fact that it made The Emperor's New Groove??
It is so smart and clever--I love sarcasm. Not only that, I thought it had a lot of heart. I know dozens of people who are completely obsessed....that flick is so underrated and underestimated it it's not even funny. Well, the movie's funny.
Things like that scare me....you see horrid sequel promotions (oh my Lord, when I saw the Bambi 2 preview my eyes literally welled with frustrated tears
), but The Emperor's New Groove is ignored completely.
I will say that there are two very good sequels--Toy Story 2 and The Rescuers Down Under. Other than that...it seems like it twists and takes away from the origional becase they're second rate and released to tape, not to mention bad animation, script, and overall story. The origionals are complete as they are; can't anything be left up to the imagination? :brick: If Disney's going to release straight to video movies, why don't they stick with Mickey and friends? They haven't gotten much play.
I am so sorry guys...I went off on the most random tangent. Forgive me.
