Found some amazing footage that a guy restored and colored that was originally shot on 16mm Kodachrome. He has footage of his Grandmother actually meeting Walt Disney himself as he mingled with park guests!

Really neat to see Disneyland in its second year of operation. See full article below:

Well, not big on the music, but the footage is astounding.

I love the fact that if you look beyond, from the skyway ride, all you see are farms. I-5 isn't even there. There are also WDW comercials floating around the internet, maybe on Youtube, that show MK shortly after it opened. Fun to see how sparse and thin the foliage was. Tomorrowland, like DL at its opening, is pretty much nonexistant.

Agreed!! :sohappy: I don't know why the guy chose that music, but it was a really annoying choice. Would have been better just to leave it silent. I couldn't get through it without just turning my volume down.
