Hollywood & Vine characters question

How often do they change up the characters and not use the ones advertised? In a lot of reviews I see people got Mickey, Goofy, etc. rather than Jake the Pirate, Doc McStuffins, etc.

Since I'm already going to Chef Mickey's and I'm going pretty much only for the characters.. I'd hate if we got Mickey and the gang a second time.

Because it says Disney Junior Play n' Dine for Lunch and Breakfast, I'd bet that they will keep it to Disney Junior characters. Is it possible that reviews that you're seeing are referring to dinner now that that is Minnie's Seasonal Dining?

The Disney junior characters are there for breakfast and lunch (play n dine). Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and goofy are there for dinner in different seasonal attire depending on the time of year (Minnie's holiday dine).

Ah.. possibly. I was just looking at the most recent reviews listed on tripadvisor I believe it was. We are going for Breakfast in June so it sounds like it will be the Disney Junior characters I'm hoping for. Thanks
