Does anyone know if Hollywood and Vine has a dinner? I keep seeing something about Minnie seasonal dinner and it looks like a dinner party.

It's a character buffet with different themes depending on the season. Christmas is just finishing and a silver screen theme will take over till March. Minnie hosts. I think it's $50 for adults and $30 for kids.

I just want to make sure I understand. Is this dinner part of the dinning plan?

Yes its covered on dining plans as long as you have table service dining. In the mornings and early afternoons its a Nick Jr dining experience. DInner switches to Minnies and has MIckey, MInnie, Goofy etc. THey wear seasonal costumes and some are really cute.

i have only done breakfast there and it was a good experience. The food was pretty good and plenty of choices for all to find favorites. The characters were great. They really got the children involved and had a lot of fun. Plus some of the characters can only be met there at breakfast, no other way to meet them. DIsney Jr age children will love it. What I really enjoy about the buffets, like this one, is that they encourage your kids to be up out of their seats and bouncing around at regular intervals. You know how sometimes you go out to eat and every sound your child utters feels like its on a microphone and if they spill something or get out of their seats it such a scene? Well at DIsney buffets it all normal and expected. You can actually relax and enjoy yourself while your children and up dancing or parading around the room...they are suppose to be doing that!

I love it! It is so much better than chef Mickey's. It is just a character meal buffet but it is relaxed and the characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy are dressed seasonally). You will meet Donald Duck before you eat. I would HIGHLY recommend it. It is dinner only.

Great! Thanks for the input. I was confused by the different characters at dinner and the seasonal changes and one site called it a party, so I was conserned it was and extra cost outside of the table service of the dinning plan.

Are they still offering a Fantasmic! Package (voucher for reserved seats for the show) or has that gone the way of the dodo since Minnie has set up shop and the advent of FP+? We haven't been to H&V on our last couple visits.

We were there during the seasonal dine when it was Halloween themed and we really enjoyed the food. I had heard so much bad about it going into it but I'm glad I decided to try it for myself. That lobster mac and cheese was really good! It was fun seeing the main characters in unique costumes too.

We are going September 3rd 2017. I have read that theme of the dinner changes in September to Halloween. Anyone think the will be changed by the 3rd of the month? We are hoping the MNSSHP will be happening during our trip and it would be nice to keep the theme going

Yes but most slots are for the Disney Junior time period. There's always MM for the package:hungry::hungry::hungry:

Last year Minnies party changed from the Summer one to the Halloween one on Monday Sept 12. I am sure of this because we arrived on Sept 11 and wanted to do Minnies summer party but had no interest in the Halloween one. Since I didn't want a sit down reservation on our arrival day since there is always a change of flight delays, cancelations etc, we ended up not getting to do her party.

So, if this year sticks to last years plan, I would say the party would switch to Halloween on the MOnday after labor day MOnday. Since Labor day will be the 4th, that would mean the party switch on the 11.

Thanks for the information. This disappoints me as I posted early we would like to eat at Minnie's Halloween party, but I am sure the summer one will be fun too.
