Sci Fi and 50"s Prime Time are also retro.
OH right, 50's Prime Time is what I'm thinking of. I don't think I've done H&V. Sounds like it isn't great from reading this thread.

It's one we haven't done either. I have read soooo much bad about it. If it were only a few, I'd try it anyway, but this place really has a bad rep.OH right, 50's Prime Time is what I'm thinking of. I don't think I've done H&V. Sounds like it isn't great from reading this thread.![]()

Is this place that terrible? Is this the retro place or am I thinking of something else....

In a word YES...you will see more negative comments about Hollywood and Vine than any other place in the 4 Kingdoms..which is all the more baffling as to way it doesnt improve
All I can assume is that H&V must be a cash cow for Disney. People probably go unknowingly or without care to the reviews and enough of them go that it is still profitable even if customer's aren't returning.
People go in droves like sheep to slaughter...I learned my lesson..too many options to dine at than waste time at that place..like I said..as a matter of principle I wont even walk by it...silly yes...but it's my small protest..and now a game as my 18 year old will constantly bait me while there..trying to veer us in that direction just to see me react.
lol...full disclosure...Ive posted several times Im not a buffett fan in general...inparticular my experience at WDW lunch/dinner buffets are blah at best...exception being Biergarten...I have a couple times..I wont go every trip but every 2-3 years Ill go back...the food is OK..but the atmosphere is fantastic..I would also do 1900 park fare again..but more because of the Evil Step mother-step-sisters being there..they are quite entertaining if you are with someone with kids..the food is just ok...but the experience offsets that. I have little issues with any of the breakfast buffets and dont mind eating them one bit...Cape MAy is the best IMO...It's a buffet and people love to stuff their faces for one price. Let's be honest. There's so many god awful Chinese buffets around where I live and they are always packed. Even after the local news channel busted a place on their Dirty Dining segment, it continues to be open and busy. That's the sad state of affairs of our society. Now, if you want a buffet I suggest going to Boma in AKL. I think it is $30 or so and you get healthy, quality and creative foods. I can appreciate a buffet that is about substance and being an adventurous eater as opposed to just shoveling mashed potatoes and fried chicken in my mouth by the liter.
