I have a question about the Hollywood and Vine breakfast. I noticed that one of the characters that they advertise is Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. How often does he show up? Is he a regular character or does he only appear every now and then?? He would be the only reason that we would make this reservation because my 2 yr old great nephew is a huge fan and he is coming with us for his first trip this October. Please give me your personal experience with this breakfast. Thanks in advance!!

Jake is always there along with June from Little Einstein's, Handy Manny and Special Agent OSO. The food is average, not the best breakfast buffet in WDW. The characters are what people really go for. You don't see OSO or Handy Manny anywhere else. You can see Jake at DHS by the Disney Junior live on stage show.

We went just before they added Jake, but it's my understanding he's there every day. We actually really enjoyed this breakfast. I know other meals here get low marks, but the food and service we had on our sole visit were on par with Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's (which have been very good for us).

Thanks for your input!! I'm trying really hard to make this vacation as special as I can. This will be a first time trip for several people in our travel party, so I am excited to see it through their eyes! I have several character meals lined up but I think he would LOVE to be able to see Jake. Thanks again!!

We've booked this breakfast on the strength of getting to meet Jake (and to a lesser extent, Oso and Handy Manny)- my 2 year old is pirate mad! I'll look forward to hearing how it went when you get back :)

Thanks to Matter, I now know that Jake is a character that appears outside the Disney Junior show!! May skip the breakfast and catch him there. Haven't decided yet but if we do the breakfast, I will give a report when we get home! Thanks for your reply and enjoy your trip!! I haven't been to the World with a little one in a long time. My oldest baby boy (24) is getting married at the wedding pavilion during this trip, so needless to say this will be an exciting time for all, young and old!!

We looked into it before but most of the characters there are already doing meet n greets by playhouse disney. So we decided elsewhere and had no prob or really much of a wait at the meet n greet area.
