Hey every one in the planing phase for our next trip. My dd will be 2 1/2. When we went last year she loves the characters, I was considering doing the h&v lunch. I unlike many people enjoy this restaurant my question is what's the difference between lunch and dinner is the food definitely not a good quality ? One of my favorite foods there is the Parmesan chicken I am hoping someone can help me with this, I would really like my daughter to see the characters but if the food isn't going to be good I would rather not do it also does anyone know the last time for lunch vs dinner thanks for your help.

Im going to preface this with I abhor Hollywood and Vile (Vine). Our experience with this particular place to eat is just awful (and yes I was fool enough to try it more than once)..from service to cleanliness to food quality. I just wouldn't ever waste my time and money again when there are so many other places to eat, however maybe the breakfast would be better and you could do the characters then? I almost broke out in a cold sweat just typing this as those memories came back.

I had lunch at H&V two weeks ago. Thought the food was actually quite good. I don't recall for certain if they had Parmesan chicken, but I think so. They were carving at lunch as well -- flank steak if I recall, and it was quite good. My family (me, wife, 2 sons, and my parents) all enjoyed it.

We were there Dec. 2013 & didn't think the food was too bad. I was nervous cause I read a lot of bad reviews but, they were unfounded. My DD5 & DGS1 LOVED it! So, that's all that matters!

Yeah, I've never understood the scorn for H&V. Never had a bad meal there, and some of the flavor profiles are fairly unique (I will forever miss the Root Beer-bourbon Sweet Potatoes). Though knowing how difficult it can be to maintain a high level of quality and still feed the masses in a buffet setting, I don't discount people's poor experiences, either. Sometimes you just have to "sandbag" food...

It's been a while since I've eaten there for lunch, but if I remember correctly, the main difference was the salmon and peel and eat shrimp and no characters at dinner.

We went this past summer with my 3 and 18 month old and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We actaully did two breakfasts there because they loved it so much. Never did lunch but we enjoyed the breakfast food
