Well, what I mean to say is that I'm assuming that they will get it right this time. I'll have to see it for myself this November.

Yeah, we can only hope. The first version was nice, the second? Not so much. We have to wait and see.

You can ask any of my friends and they'll tell you how much the "OLAF PRESENTS!!!" in the original WOC: WD bugged me. Glad they toned that down for 2014 but then they upped the Frozen inclusion which didn't make it much better. Hopefully Season of Light has a good balance.

From what I could tell, they were testing parts of this late night last week- the screen was on the Mickey's fun wheel and the fountains were going...it was hard to make out what some of it was, but they were doing something I'm excited to see it!

That's what it looked like to me When the testing stopped the Mickey face was covered with the screen thing from celebrate!

I hadn't seen that version yet (never made it during my trip). I thought that was what it was for originally, but found when I saw the end of WOC from the room it wasn't. I loved the screen part of WOC.

Weren't they having a Walt Disney Family Museum gala with a special showing of Celebrate? I heard that was happening, just not sure of the date; maybe that was it. Not entirely sure.

The Gala is November 1st with WoC Celebrate happening for them after park hours.

Well, saw a periscope of ACF from today, NO Toy Solders!! I'm Shocked!!! Why on earth DL would can the solders IDK. Even TDO isn't that dumb!

It's a great start, in my opinion. The entire parade is dated, stale, boring, and should be replaced.

I'm hoping it's replaced within the next 2 years or so.. It's about time.. Even a renewal would be welcomed with the same name/music, but completely new floats.. These more recent changes haven't been for the better, such as Frozen, Character replacements, etc.. It's time for a fresh take.

The Beast seems to have received an update, his new eyes stood out right away. He even has head movement now.

Christmas at Disneyland has become incredibly stale. 22 year old parade, 16 year old fireworks show. DCA is where it's at now with the wonderful Festival of Holidays, Viva Navidad and Season of Light. I hope DL has a Christmas overhaul planned for 2017 - it needs it.

I have attachment to the soundtrack of Christmas Fantasy (kinda obsessed with Bruce Healey's work) and the toy soldiers but other than that I don't really care, to be honest. If the new parade's soundtrack was as good and there were still toy soldiers, I'd be happy.
