just looked at the calendar, guess Happily Ever After is taking a break
Hopefully this and Hallowishes get canned and replaced next year, Wishes is long gone. New HEA spin offs ‘Scarily Ever After’ and ‘Merrily Ever After’ (you get the gyst) would be much preferred.
Seems a silly move, knocks off any incentive to pay for these events if there is hardly any exclusive shows.I believe they are leaning towards performing the regular version of Happily Every After during the party and ditching the holiday shows.
I agree but it is cheaper then presenting a new show. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do just a holiday tag at the end of Happily Every After but who knows.Seems a silly move, knocks off any incentive to pay for these events if there is hardly any exclusive shows.

No.I believe they are leaning towards performing the regular version of Happily Every After during the party and ditching the holiday shows.
Surely for this reason alone they should leave Event Wishes well alone. Why replace the unique with what can be seen every day? Or, in TWDC terms, with what can be seen for free every day?Seems a silly move, knocks off any incentive to pay for these events if there is hardly any exclusive shows.
It’s a survey question. Surveys are structured to be simple. The result is “guests realize our event shows are lower quality than the normal nightly show.” Had they asked if guests preferred an old show with fireworks and ancient projections vs. a new one with modern projections, synchrolites, and 5 more minutes, many guests would be confused. They don’t understand the technical aspects of the shows. They just have a feeling that what they saw on Wednesday for “free” is better than what they paid an extra $100/guest to see on Friday.Hopefully not, but they are surveying Guests to see if they would rather have Happily Every After performed during the party.

I remember them surveying illuminations a couple years back, I told them don't replace it because the replacement shows and attractions are garbageIt’s a survey question.
