Its a great show and i'm looking forward to the holiday segment. The sky is the limit with the projector system. Anything with a holiday overlay is a good thing (especially after they cut the country bears christmas special)

Does anyone know how long they will be showing the holiday version. I am getting down on January
3rd and would love to catch it if it is still showing

The Castle Dream Lights are scheduled to be on through January 8 this year, so they could have this show continue through then, too.

They've made some nice additions to the Osborne lights this year (very nice update to the light canopy, some buildings can now change color, and they came up with a smarter use for the window TVs that showed snowflakes last year). Nice job!

Well since it will not be a full holiday show, will this not be shown for MVMCP? I heard prior to this announcement that it would be?

According to info released yesterday it will be shown nightly during MVMCP at 9:15.

"Here is the entertainment lineup and schedule for this year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. As always, timings are subject to change, so check with the times guides inside the park on the day of your event.

Event hours: 7:00pm - 12:00am
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at 8:15pm and 10:30pm
Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at 9:30pm
The Magic, The Memories and You holiday edition at 9:15pm
Celebrate the Season castle stage show at 7:45pm, 10:05pm and 11:20pm
A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas on the Tomorrowland Stage at 7:45pm, 8:45pm, 9:55pm, 10:50pm, 11:45pm"

Will Magic Memories and You be playing in mid January? I know if it is it would be the original show, but would really like to see it.

I thought it was going to be added on at the end instead of right after the birthday segment. It looks really nice!
And that cake at 1:23 looks exactly like the castle cake! Looks much better with projections.. haha.

I got really excited when I saw this, because we are going down on January 7th, and I've never seen the Castle Dream Lights. However, when I looked on the Disney site, I found information saying that they actually end on the 3rd:

Bummer!! I was so excited. Maybe next year... :(

As usual, it is difficult to find a definite end date. This website lists January 8 as the end date, as do several others, and this website is typically more reliable than Disney's own site (and I don't know that I'd trust a Disney Mom), but who knows. Disneyworld.com listed January 3 as the end date earlier this year, which I planned on, and they ended up ending them on January 1 for whatever reason, so I missed them. So, this year, if they are still running, great. If not, I'll move on. A clear schedule would be nice, though.

In years past, the Dream Lights continued running (unannounced) through mid-January, so who knows.

I still love the way they line the real pyro up with the projected pyro on the castle. I just think that is really neat.

I also find the most effective parts of the show are still when they transform the entire castle (gingerbread, packages, and in the old show the rapid time change effect)

I will keep my fingers crossed...I would LOVE to see it! And if not, then I'll have an excuse to book a future trip! :)
