From what I've heard, the makeover cost about 10 million to do. I don't know if that's an annual expense or just the initial outlay.....Anyway, the reason it hasn't happenned yet is the fact that DL relies on a lot of repeat business (year round) from the locals. Traditionally, this time period had been slower for DL, but with the new layovers for HM and IASW, attendance has really picked up. Meanwhile, WDW draws many more people from around the country as well as the world. Usually their vacation plans don't hinge on this type of event. They're planning to be at WDW anyway. So WDW is hesitant on spending money they feel they don't need to spend. Personnally, I would love to see the makeovers and might even change vacation dates to get down to WDW to see them. (WDW's point...I'm not making an extra trip, just changing my dates....no extra $$$$) My inside source says that eventually WDW WILL do these makeovers though. The question is when.
