Don't get me wrong, the park is turning out alot better than I expected. Sure there are a lack of rides, but they themed it well, and they're are more enhancements along the way, but here are a few ideas I'm pitching in to help improve it.
Main Street: It looks good, but it does lack juicy details that makes the other main streets so great. Just add more shop signs, architectual designs, and it will be fine.
Adventurland looks good, but too new looking. Age up the land so its more rustic and like Nature has done its worst to alot of the structures.
Jungle Cruise: This definately looks like the best version of the jungle cruise with some cool new effects. But make the boats larger. Its kind of a shame to see such little boats going around in such a little river. Now I'm not talking river boat big, but make it atleast twice the size of a normal jungle cruis boat with small paddle wheel on the side. And make the boats look aged. This isn't an immdediate change, but could happen in a few years or so.
Tarzan's Treehouse: Add alot more interactive things to the exibit like maybe kids can play with the professor's inventions, and play with levers the help pump water up to the top of the treehouse. Add more things to the rest of the island. Make it sort of like the Adventure Isle in DLP.
I'm not too fond of the POTC version of Splash Mountain. I think they should do what has been planned for the DL version. Have the same classic ride by day, but at night, the boats can be re-directed to a different route that goes through scenes based off of the movie where the pirates are pillaging the British colony town and Jack Sparrow and Will Turner have to save the day!
Other additions could include Raging Spirits, and an Indy adventure. But if the Chinese aren't too familiar with the Indiana Jones character, then simply exclude him from the attraction.
Tomorrowland looks good, but add more details and make it alot less cartoony looking. Add some new additions like an Autopia, TTA, a star tours type ride, aand maybe an Aquatopia.
Fantaseyland looks really good, but add more dark rides like Peter Pan, Pinoccio, Snow White, ect. Not to mention IASW. TEAR DOWN THOSE STUPID WASTE OF SPACE, LOUSY EXCUSE FOR A NEW ATTRACTION FANTASEY GARDENS!!!!! AAAAHAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
ahem, now that I've gotten that off of my chest, here's some new ideas for a Fontierland type of replacement land. Well, since Frontierland is so "politically incooect" in china, I was thinking of having a more of a Northern rustic sort of feel. Kind of like the grizzly peak area in DCA. You could easily have a BTMRR there ( but really different since you could cope with new themeing ) a rapids ride could stand in for splash mountain, and possibly the Haunted Mansion could move here. This way, you could keep with the tradition of putting a Haunted Mansion in different lands in every park. Sure, there was rumor of it going into Adventureland, but having that along with a Raging Spirits and Indy, you'd have way too many supernatural rides in Adventureland.
So, those are just a few ideas I wanted to knock around. Any thoughts?
