Historic early year discounts

Hi all,
Like many of us who booked for 2014 when the package prices were revealed on the 10th, we are hoping for discounts early in the year to help out with those rack rate prices.

Historically, does anyone know what is offered? Specifically I am looking for mid to end February. The two discount options I am assuming are free dining or % off rooms. Since we booked a deluxe, the discount I recall is 30%. So if my math is correct, that is what I am hoping for as I save an additional $500 over free dining. But I will take either one!

If you have any historical info you can provide, that would be tremendously helpful!

Great! Thank you SO much! It looks like there is a good shot for room discounts that can booked as a package. Also, that they were out in late August for 2011 and 2012, but last year, they were out in October. That is when I thought they would be out. Oh good grief! Why is it so hard to be patient when waiting for this!!!

2011 and 2012 had free dining during our travel period, but not 2013 ;(. We're still going to book all ADR's 180 days out, but may scale back on dining if no free dining is released.

Yes, I saw that. For us, a better deal would be the 35% off rooms. I ran the numbers last night. But we would be happy with either! I agree - making all of our ADR's and then if we need to scale back we will. When can you make your ADR's?

Saturday Aug. 10. We pretty much have everything planned and where we want to eat. We hope to see Feb park hours this week so we can maximize park time.

Our dates are Feb 6-13. We called Disney this evening just to confirm the 180 mark. You can call them to check the exact date.

I knew we were close in dates but I thought we were closer so I thought I was remembering our date wrong but no, its the 25th. I am so excited to make them! Its like my next fave thing to booking the trip!

I agree with you! I let them tell me and then I count the dates myself! Haha I have trust issues!
