Hidden Pieces of Old Rides or WDW History in parks

At the new Goofy's roller coaster, if you look at the back of the entrance sign, the wood used shows parts of the old "wise acres" sign used previously. I just can't remember where it was from though. Any help?
I'm not too sure that the sign was ever used at Goofy's Wise Acres Farm as the only sign that I can recall was on the water tower ...thus having vertical boards with horizontal writing. The back of the new sign has horizontal writing on horizontal boards. I think it is just a tribute and not really a re-appropriation of previous signage.

He was by the stage in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot, directly behind the fruit stand there. However, I think he's since gone MIA, as I didn't see him when I was there in May.

Do you know when he was there last? Last time and only time I've ever been there was in 2009 and I imagine it would be hard to miss.

Unfortunately I don't. I know I haven't seen him the last few times I've been (I try to pay my respects each time I'm there), but I can't seem to find my pictures of him at all. Hopefully he'll be back, but who knows?

Looks like they used most of it. Very Cool. Original below for comparison (FYI there were 5 of these on a turntable).

Combine the turntable from Journey with the projection screens at the end of Horizons, and you've got the basic concept that Forbidden Journey utilizes for the simulated flight sequences. A reminder of how classic Disney attractions were so far ahead of their time. :)

Disney's official Fort Wilderness Resort's web page posts this Fun Fact: "The tree trunk trashcans throughout Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are recycled props from the retired Indian Village attraction that was open in Frontierland at Disneyland Theme Park in California from 1955 to 1971."

Anyone have a picture of them?

Where was this located originally?
This was not located anywhere..It was a Big Figurine you can purchase at Art of Disney..The Imagineers used one of the statues and repainted it...

That statue is one of the Big Figurines that was released in 2004
