Good Morning Everyone..Talk about deep depression..:(.After spending 10 days in Southern Spain with tempertures high in the 80's,coming back to Scotland, now I've got the cold..Rants over..Now to my question...Have you found a little snook ( a quiet place ) at a restaurant in Disney where few folk realise exists.?..I remember finding the upstairs in CHH in MK..It was so peaceful compared to downstairs, one wonders if it's the stairs that puts people off when their holding their trays stacked with food, anyway it's a must for us..I remember one year,it may have been our first visit in 2004,getting those little fish suppers at Yorkshire fish & chips in Epcot, this American couple who were served just before us told us that they were seats around the corner.Lo behold we followed them towards the back of the Rosé & Crown and true enough they were 6 or 7 tables send seats...Now the secrets gone.....Anyway..Spill the beans...Have you a quiet secret place that you would like to share..?..

Well, this isn't exactly a secret place, but it can be a very pleasant, quiet respite from park noise—as long as you go prior to 11:30 for lunch. For a counter service restaurant, Pizzafari at AK has some of the most colorful and cheerful walls, resplendent with animal themes. The tables and chairs are also nicely appointed, and spread out enough so that they're not crowded.

I really like how they divide up the large dining area into a few back dining rooms; that creates a most welcoming atmosphere. You don't feel like you're in a crowded cafeteria. If you arrive early for lunch and go to the farthest rear dining room, sometimes you'll have the whole space to yourself (at least for a little while)!

My DS and I found that spot at Yorkshire fish shop many years ago and the upstairs at CHH as well, thanks for nothing Hatter! I haven't been to California Grille since the re-furb but the Wine room was our favorite seating area. I hope they didn't "mess" with it.
Sorry..I'll find you a secret spot later on my next trip...That's a promise...

Well it's not a restaurant but I am a fan of Victoria's Fall Lounge at AKL. Went with a couple of my friends who had just returned from Africa and they encouraged me to try some of the African wines...The atmosphere is dark and relaxing. You can smell the smokey smells from Boma and sit back, relax, and enjoy the wine/cocktail of your choice. It might be my new favorite spot on property!

I used to enjoy going into the Main Street bakery in the morning for breakfast and having the Yogurt Parfait and heading out to the end of Center Street to the couple of tables that always seemed to be open. We would sit there and watch the thousands of people walking by in their mad dash to magic.

CHH upstairs is also one of my favorite locations. Unless the parks are bursting, it is fairly quiet up there and sitting over the walkway and people watching adds to the enjoyment.

At DHS the paint room at the Backlot Express seems to always be quiet and there is so much theming all throughout that room.

Also at DHS the ABC Commissary is very quiet. I have to assume that for one reason it is in an out of the way alley and it just never has seemed to get a good food identity. They have offered some decent food and then the menu changes to something else which is not good and the routine continues.

In AK Restaurantasaurus along with Pizzafari have many isolated rooms which can offer quiet locations. It seems that most people just congregate in the seating closest to the food counters and refuse to look around which is good for me. :D

My number one location is at Flame Tree BBQ. I love the seating right on the water while watching EE go round and round. It is tough to get a water side seat during peak lunch hours, but most of the day those seats can be found open with nobody else even under the pavilion. The only noise are the screams of riders on EE.

Most CS restaurant have some sort of out of the way seating if you look. You just have to be willing to search a little.

Pinocchio's Village Haus also has an upstairs level, though it's not as large as CHH and is often closed. It's maybe 5 tables inside and 4 tables outside on a balcony overlooking Fantasyland. Just be aware that unlike CHH there are *no* condiments upstairs. Grab them before you go up.

If the weather's nice, I like the balconies at Cosmic Rays overlooking the Hub. They're not hidden, but because of the limited number of tables they can be quiet.

The upstairs level of Electric Umbrella can be quieter, though it's definitely not a secret because the stairs are right there and very visible.

I like the little courtyard behind Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom to sit and have a snack.

The seating area behind Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square is often quiet.

This isn't always available, but if Tortuga tavern is closed the seating in the very back room (up the ramp) of Pecos Bills and all the Tortuga seating can be empty or very quiet. My last two trips we had that back room to ourselves while others fought over tables in the main sections. Very quiet. Music is relaxing, but it’s a long walk with your food if you are carrying a lot.
