Hey guys - i know this isn't wdw - but please don't move this thread--

a little while back i was talking about the dreamlights video and how badly i wish it would come to wdw - and someone asked me where i got the video - and i found it again! i am telling you - if you will just download the first video - you will see why this is such a great parade! It is the perfect mixture of the MSEP and SpectroMagic! I really hope this parade makes it's way to WDW soon!!!

I've seen the show several times live in Tokyo DL, having worked there for 6 months (and going back in March, yahoo!). It is indeed the best electrical parade yet, and of course the newest. I don't think a carbon copy of the parade could come to WDW, because the streets are FAR wider in Tokyo DL, and there is no Main Street route to contend with there. I know from friends that worked there that the parade had many "accidents" in rehearsals back in 2001 because the floats in some places only have a matter of inches in clearance. That and the fact that many of the floats re-used certain chassis from older parades to save money (and hence caused weight overload problems and brake failures), I doubt that this parade could physically or financially be feasible in WDW. But a new parade creation that mimics Dreamlights would be really cool. Or better yet, an ALL new parade, something no other park has yet.

yes! - like - i know the snails, and catterpillar and blue fairy are all about the same size - but just the new lighting effects on them, MAN - that is about as good as it gets - really and honestly - i can understand not bringing the huge floats over (although the cheshire cat would be NICE!!!) - but this parade just looks like the icing on the cake!

Maybe its just me...

I hear Main Street Electrical Parade.

I see a small version of the same technology in Spectromagic. I also see old versions of Main Street Electrical floats as well! I thought the orig. went to Paris?

Something different at WDW...sure.
Something better than what WDW currently has...I'm not so sure.


Just as long as theres no "Spectromen" in it, I'm game.
